Psychological Adjustment of Parents of Children with Different Cancer Prognoses

Abstract Little is known about the psychological adjustment of parents children with cancer relapse or remission. This study investigated differences in caregivers different prognosis, by comparing them a control group. In total, 183 participated this study: those relapse/on treatment (n = 32), remission/off 75), and “healthy” 76). The Beck Depression Anxiety Inventories, Symptom Check list-90-R, Norbeck Social Support Questionnaire-Reviewed Family Environment Scale were analyzed Variance Analysis, Student’s t-test, Chi-square Pearson correlations. results showed that presented less adjustment.
